ABOUT

Ulusaba Safari Lodge fits snuggly into the bush located beneath a canopy of ancient trees on the edge of a dry riverbed. You’ll love the sense of adventure as you access some of the rooms by swing bridges. Your room will provide fascinating views of the animals as they stroll past on their way to the nearby watering hole. The rooms are air-conditioned and most have their own private plunge pools. Safari Lodge also includes a Treehouse Suite (10 minute walk away) overlooking the nearby Xikwenga Dam.
In Safari Lodge, there is one Safari Room close to the Main Lodge, which can be interconnected with the Safari Suite to create a two bedroom suite. This room offers a viewing deck and en-suite bathroom with great views.
There are three spacious Elephant Rooms with en-suite bathrooms and large viewing decks offering stunning views over the bush. Elephants regularly use a migratory route that passes by these rooms allowing for excellent up-close-and personal game viewing. The location of these 3 Elephant Rooms are ideal for friends travelling together or families with teens wishing to be close to their parents.
Built in tree house style, there are four River Rooms, with two of these rooms offering private plunge pools. All are very spacious and private with cosy seating areas and striking views of the river bed or bush. Ideal for those celebrating or enjoying a romantic escape as these rooms are secluded and tucked between jackalberry trees. Three of the River Rooms are accessible by swing bridge and are a short walk from the main Lodge.
This private suite is next to the Main Lodge and is accessed through its own entrance into a walled garden with boma fire pit. There is a separate spacious lounge that opens onto a large viewing deck with plunge pool, outdoor shower and private dining table for up to 8 guests. The suite boasts an en-suite bathroom with a separate WC and an additional guest bathroom next to the lounge. The Safari Suite can be interconnected with the Safari Room to sleep up to 4 guests.
